Asset management firm Oxygen is pleased to announce that Fieldfisher has agreed to a lease extension at Riverbank House at 2 Swan Lane. This will mean the European law firm has committed to approximately 81,000 sq. ft of office space across three floors at this riverside location, a short walk from Cannon Street, the Royal Exchange and Borough Market, until 2035.
This follows on from successful sublettings to Winterflood Securities and Direct Line Insurance as part of a disposal by hedge fund manager MAN Group, which pre-leased the office space for a 25-year term back in 2010. Fieldfisher was advised by CBRE and MAN Group was advised by BNP Paribas Real Estate. This latest announcement means 37,000 sq ft remains available to lease on the ground, first and seventh floors of the building.
Oxygen owns the Long Leasehold interest of Riverbank House, which has a BREEAM Excellent rating. The reception has undergone a full refurbishment providing a contemporary welcome and the building includes elements such as bicycle facilities and parking; shower and changing facilities and coffee bar and café.
